Don't forget your camera (Day 12)

Today I got a harsh lesson in why I should not leave my camera at home.  I had an errand to run today so I put The Boy and The Girl in the car and headed out.  A few streets over from our neighborhood I saw a massive red-tailed hawk sitting on a post in an empty lot.  It was no more than 10 feet from the curb.  My heart sank when I realized my camera was at home and all I had with me was the subpar camera on my cellphone.  I did the best I could though.  I was able to pull right up to the curb, get out of the car and snap a few photos.  Unfortunately, they are awful.

It was still pretty cool to be that close to a live hawk though.
